أثناء عرض جوي في ميدلين بشمال غربي البلاد انقطع حبل معلق بمروحية كان عسكريان كولومبيان يتدليان منه مما أدى الى وقوعهما ووفاتهما.
والعرض العسكر جاء في إطار عرض جوي في اختتام مهرجان الزهور الذي يقام سنويا في المدينة.

وفي هذا الصدد، قالت قيادة الجيش في بيان إن “القوات الجوية الكولومبية تأسف بشدة لفقدان رجلين شجاعين لقيا حتفهما بحادث في أقصى مدرج مطار أولايا هيريرا في ميدلين”.
وكان ضابطا الصف، خيسوس موسكويرا وسيباستيان غامبوا، متدليين من حبل معلق بمروحية عسكرية ويمسكان بعلم ضخم لبلادهما،.
