فرضت الولايات المتحدة حزمة عقوبات جديدة على إيران بسبب وضعها قيودا على الدخول إلى شبكة الانترنت وعرقلة البث التلفزيوني الدولي ؛ من جهتها أعلنت وزارة الخزانة الامريكية أن من بين المؤسسات التي خضعت للعقوبات وزارة الثقافة والارشاد , التي تقوم باصدار احكام سجن على الصحفيين واغلاق الصحف , إضافة إلى وزير الاتصالات والإعلام التكنولوجى رضا تاجي بور ، وعدد من المسئولين المتورطين فى المحاولات الجارية حاليا من جانب النظام الإيرانى لقمع وتكميم أفواه الشعب
The USA imposed a new sanctions on Iran because of its situation. US put new limitations on the internet network and hindered TV broadcast. From its side, the US Treasury announced that among the institutions that subjected to the sanctions is the ministry of culture and guidance, which issued many orders to imprison journalists and newspapers, in addition to the Minister of communications and technological media Rida Taji Bour and other officials involved beside the Iranian regime to suppress and silence the people.
